It is the season

Christmas in July

We are so rush rush rush right now. It is all good stuff. My best friends daughter got married on Sunday and i LOVED being apart of it all. Spending time with friends, shopping, running to the post office( not even gifts to mail) Going to see friends in a Christmas choir. And so much more to do. But i want to step back and take the time to remember CHRIST this time of year and show my children that he is the only gift that matters.

ok , I don't know where the picture of the rum came from . I saw it in my file and thought oh that looks like Christmas. LOL Now i don't know how to remove it.

We had a fun day with friends at the park for lunch and a very fast trip to the zoo. This is not the whole crew but most. Three moms and 17 children and one soon to be married couple. It was great fun until Cheyanne's tummy started filling bad so we went home. She was a little upset to miss the fun. So we hope to do it again soon.

Then yesterday we went to The Civil War weekend school day. It was a long drive but great fun. We learned a bit we didn't know and walked the grounds of one of Texas' first cotton farms. Sarah got question by a Union soldiers. Ha Ha

But we forgot the camera at home for that trip. Then once in OCt. and then again the first of Nov. we had a girls weekend. The first was with close friends and the girls and I. That was a very fun and relaxing weekend. Then in Nov. I went with some girl friends and we just did nothing but talk , eat, drink watched North and South and had a great time.

We are looking foward to Thanksgiving next week and will enjoy some time on the farm with the grandparents. I am Thankful for my family but most of all for my Lord. Remember to give him thanks for all you have.

Just a quick update.

I need to be in bed. The kids and I will be getting up in a few hours to drive three hours away for a Civil War SChoolday. Joshua is so excited and i think it will be great fun if i can make it there and back without falling asleep. I will post some pictures soon of what we have been up to. Untill then. Girls Weekend

We just came back from a mother daughter girls weekend. It was the best girls weekend ever.
My two girls , my dearest friend in the whole world and three of her five girls . We had, hot tub time, feed the horses, ride the horses, walks, movie time, crochet time, cd time, just talking time, cooking, cleaning, teat party, and drawing nature. The time went by so fast we where all sad to go and pray to get to go back soon. We have pictures and i will post them soon.
